The people’s king

In 2013, Dancing Turtle Films released a documentary about John Rothwell — a former British soldier and biker who, having legally changed his name to King Arthur Uther Pendragon, now identifies as the reincarnation of Britain’s legendary monarch. Directed by Max Conil and co-produced by Dominic Brown, it was, and remains, a portrait of a genuinely singular individual.

Rothwell is standing as an independent candidate in Salisbury in the general election on 7th May. To mark the occasion he has released a party political broadcast — perhaps the most unconventional one this election cycle will produce. It is worth three minutes of your time regardless of where you stand politically.

We make no claims about the soul migration of Dark Age warlords. We do think independent candidates who stand on principle, whatever that principle may be, are worth acknowledging. Watch the broadcast below.

Vote Independent. Vote King Arthur Pendragon.
