These terms apply to all sync licenses issued by Dancing Turtle Records. They set out what each license permits, what it doesn't, and how to get in touch if your situation isn't covered here.
A sync license from Dancing Turtle Records permits you to synchronise a specified track from our catalogue with visual media — including film, television, advertising, online video, games and other audiovisual content.
All sync licenses are non-exclusive as standard. This means the same track may be licensed to other productions simultaneously. Exclusive licenses are available and negotiated on a case-by-case basis at a higher rate. Contact records@dancingturtle.com to discuss.
All sync licenses cover worldwide use as standard unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All sync licenses are granted in perpetuity — your production may use the licensed track for the lifetime of the work without renewal.
All sync licenses require the following on-screen or end credit:
Music courtesy of [Artist Name] / Dancing Turtle Records
Specific credit placement and format can be agreed at the time of licensing.
All master and sync rights for recordings in the Dancing Turtle catalogue are held by or administered through Dancing Turtle Records. Artists are registered with PRS for Music and PPL.
