Heally is the musical alias of Jules Ellis, an electronic producer and guitarist who has recorded and performed with various groups over the years including Paradise Found and Elpoep.
Heally’s music documents his journey through life, his feelings, thoughts, reflections, and subconscious motives – drawing influence from genres including electronic, trip-hop, jazz, ambient and world music. His approach to production involves sampling instruments to create atmospheric sounds which he then layers with electronic beats and guitar parts. This process creates a musical style that is a reflection of his own point of contact between the inner life and external world, resonating with listeners on a deeper level. His music has been praised for its emotional depth and its ability to create a sense of catharsis.
In addition to his music production, Heally is also a certified music therapist, using music as a force for positive change, helping people suffering from a variety of mental and relationship issues. He believes that music can be a powerful tool for healing and transformation. His own and others.
