To mark the 5th anniversary of the untimely death of singer-songwriter Chris Austin, we are today making available for free download a selection of songs that he created with his band Burn Paper Tigers – a vehicle for his songs between 2008 and 2009.
The band emerged on the Medway music scene as an iteration of Austin’s previous band, Hospital Bombers, and before he went on to create Tape Error.
Burn Paper Tigers created a duet of EP’s (“Note” and “Book”) during their time making music together. The songs were written by Chris Austin and arranged by him and the band. Some were recorded by the band, some by The Great Zarganzor, in various locations in Rochester and Chatham. Cover art by Chris Austin.
