Japanese producer Daisuke Tanabe started making music in his childhood. In his mid 20s he went to London to study Art, specialising in sculptures. During this time making music was still his passion, and it was at the CDR parties when his music was finally discovered by Tony Nwachukwu who put his track “Sand Hill” on the first CDR release. After that Daisuke had the chance to release his music from several different labels and was also nominated for the Gilles Peterson “All Winners” Award 2006.
Daisuke Tanabe’s music is very playful and atmospheric at the same time. Inspired by his surroundings; he is taking all kinds of environmental sounds to express himself throughout his tracks.
